The purpose of this publication is to provide helpful information for students and teachers of Biblical Prophecy, original commentary on selected current events, and summaries of new information from key prophecy sites on the Internet.
"Signs of The End or Signs of the Times?"
This is an excellent article to provide balance on the issue of the "Signs of the Times." While there are ample reasons to believe that the Lord will return for His own soon, we should avoid speculation that every unusual hurricane, flood, or earthquake is a sure sign that the end is near.
Y2K Update: The Coming Computer Crisis
How serious is "The Millennium Bug," or, as some call it, "The Millennium Bomb"?, This problem is caused by computer programs using short fields for dates which assume the dates are in the 1900's. The more attention we give to this matter, the more we realize that there will be big problems when the calendar turns at the beginning of the year 2000.
In addition to their monthly newsletter, which is always interesting, Zola's site contains a unique and helpful list of links, including the following categories: Jewish Culture, Fellow Ministries, Information about Israel, News from Israel, Sites of Interest, Travel Info, and Bible Information.
The last paragraph of this article from their Intelligence Briefing summarizes the progress of the EU: "European monetary union, with a single European currency, begins January 1, 1999. The European Union is formulating common foreign and security policies. The EU is also rapidly dissolving the ideas of national sovereignty in a giant step toward globalism and one-world government. This up and coming "superstate" is preparing the way for a more powerful central government-one that will eventually be headed by a world dictator. (Daniel 7:23; 11:36; Revelation 13:3, 7, 8, 16)
