French violence hits fresh peak

Nov. 7, 2005 - Last night's rioting in France produced the highest damage count yet - 1,408 vehicles burnt out and 395 arrests. Muslim leaders of African and Arab communities are apparently trying to stem the violence by issuing a fatwa, or religious order, against the riots. It says:

Paris Riots: Beginning of Jihad in Europe?

Nov. 7, 2005 (Nov. 14 Issue of Newsweek) - Riots that have raged in Paris neighborhoods since Oct. 27 have resulted in the burning of thousands of cars and busses, burning of many businesses, and the arrest of more than 200 people. As of Nov. 7 (the date of the release of this article) no one had been killed, but there is rising concern that the continuing violence may mark the beginning of an Islamic jihad in Europe.
What really shook the French government, and badly, was its inability to contain the metastasizing anger... Fears also grew that in the age of terror, rage like this could swell the ranks of radical Islamists in the heart of Europe.

We're facing a radical ideology with inalterable objectives to enslave whole nations and intimidate the world... No act of ours invited the rage of the killers, and no concession, bribe or act of appeasement would change or limit their plans for murder.
President Bush has a scheduled meeting with Palestinian Authority Chairman Mahmoud Abbas when they meet, on October 20th. It is likely that he will tell Abbas that he needs to join those actively fighting radical Islam.

Experts are worried that terrorists could steal enough to trigger a nuclear catastrophe.

Aug. 1, 2005 - Saudi Arabia's King Fahd died today, leaving his half brother and successor, Crown Prince Abdullah in charge of the country. Two years ago Abdullah did launch a campaign against terrorism and the extremist teaching and preaching that encourages terrorism.
Fifteen of the 19 hijackers were Saudis, and many in the United States blamed the kingdom's strict Wahhabi school of Islam for fueling terrorism.

Muslim scholar: Killing civilians OK

July 12, 2005 - Hani Al-Siba'i, head of the Al-Maqreze Centre for Historical Studies in London, said that Islam makes no distinction between civilians and military targets. In an interview with the Arab news channel al-Jazeera, Al-Siba'i was reminded by the host that the religious law assembly in Mecca recently issued a fatwa forbidding the killing of civilians. Al-Siba'i said, "There is no such term as 'civilians' in the modern Western sense. People are either of Dar Al-Harb or not." Islam teaches that the world is divided into two "houses." They either belong to "The house of Islam," or "The house of war" (Dar Al-Harb).

June 13, 2005 - The recent raid on an Al-Qaida "communitity in Lodi, Calif. brought to light connections with terrorists in Mexico and Latin America where it is much easier for them to establish themselves, and then slip across our borders along with hundreds of illegal immigrants and drug lords. Has U.S. threatened to vaporize Mecca?

Jan. 7, 2005 - Intelligence expert Jack Wheeler says that a rumor campaign from President Bush's administration has caused Osama bin Laden not to attack America again after the initial 9-11 event. Bin Laden's "Damoclean Sword," the one thing that he would most dread, would be the utter nuclear destruction of Islam's most holy city, Mecca. The theory is that President Bush's tough action in Afghanistan and Iraq have convinced Osama not to take the chance with another attack since it might mean the end of Mecca.
Wheeler says bin Laden is "playing poker with a Texas cowboy holding the nuclear aces... So far, Osama has decided not to see if GW is bluffing. Smart move."

Strange Theories About The Earthquake/ Tsunami

Was the devastating earthquake and tsunami in Asia a purely natural solution or was it the result of God's direct action? Could it possibly have been caused by terrorists?

In our article,2004 In Review- The Year In Prophecy, we assume it is a natural phenomenon, but it is a stark reminder that Jesus said earthquakes would be a sign of the times.

Popular science novelist Michael Crichton's latest book,"State of Fear," is based on a plot about eco-terrorists who try to create four "natural disasters" (including a tsunami) in order to alert the world to the dangers of global warming.

It is theoretically possible to create electromagnetic activity to release the gravitational effects. This, in turn, could cause massive earth movements.
