Bitcoin Futures Launch Sparks Excitement, Warnings
Dec. 10, 2017 - Two stock exchanges will open trading in bitcoin futures, prompting great interest and great concerns.
The Cboe Futures Exchange in Chicago opens trading today, and the Chicago Mercantile Exchange will do the same a week later.
Commodities and Futures Trading Commission, gave the green light to the exchanges on December 1, while warning
"of the potentially high level of volatility and risk in trading these contracts."

June 27, 2017 - A new world-wide cyber attack has frozen files in Windows computers and demands payment of a fee, paid in untraceable Bitcoin,
before it will make the encrypted files readable again.
Companies across the globe are reporting that they have been struck by a major ransomware cyber-attack.
The Russian anti-virus firm Kaspersky Lab said its analysis showed that there had been about 2,000 attacks - most in Ukraine, Russia and Poland.
