The biggest threat now is not Radical Islam. It is “Apocalyptic Islam.”
Feb/27, 2015 - Joel Rosenberg warns that "Apocalyptic Islam" is the most serious threat because . . .
". . . for the first time in all of human history, we have not just one but two nation states whose rulers are driven not by political ideology
— or even mere religious theology — but by apocalyptic, genocidal End Times eschatology.
The two main branches of Islam are the Shia and the Sunni. Both branches believe the End of days has come and their messiah, the “Mahdi” is
about to appear. However, the two groups have different strategies to hasten his arrival.
At the core of the ISIS terrorist movement, radical Sunnis are committing genocide now in an effort to build a caliphate (Islamic empire) at the
cost of millions of lives.
Iran is the center of the Shia branch of Islam. They want to build The Bomb. They think that having nuclear weapons, and probably using
them--and killing tens of millions--will open the way for the Madhi to return.

Op-Ed President Obama: Our fight against violent extremism
Feb. 18, 2015 - In President Obama's editorial opinion in the Los Angeles Times, he minimizes the importance of religious
motives in the growing problem of terrorism, and points to the need for society to provide hope and opportunity to people around the world who do not
feel that they have a good future. A summit of religious and community leaders will convene today to discuss possible solutions to the problem.
With this week's summit, we'll show once more that — unlike terrorists who only offer misery and death — it is our free societies and diverse
communities that offer the true path to opportunity, justice and dignity.

Legislators will want to define the language of the agreement. Some of these terms are "boots on the ground,'" "enduring combat," and "engagement."

Rebels hold Yemen’s president ‘captive’ at his house
Jan. 21, 2014 - Houthi rebels (Shiites) have taken control of the capital of Yemen, the most-impoverished Arab nation. They have
now replaced President Abed Rabbo Mansour Hadi's guards with their own fighters, and are holding him captive in his home.
The embattled Hadi – a top US ally in the war against al-Qaida in Yemen – appears to have run out of options to continue governing
the country, months after the Houthis began a blitz across the country in September.
The al-Qaida in Yemen (Sunnis) pose another problem there. They are now considered by the US to be the most dangerous branch of al-Quaida.
They claimed responsibility for the recent attack on the Charlie Hebdo newspaper in France. In Yemen they are known as "al Qaeda
in the Arabian Peninsula" (AQAP).
