Prophetic Significance of Jordan
Is Jordan next? King Abdullah knows he is in a winner-take-all war with ISIS. Does Washington?
Feb. 18, 2015 - Jordan's King Abdullah responded with serious air strikes after ISIS extremists burned a Jordanian
pilot. ISIS, in turn, threaten to invade Jordan and “slaughter” Abdullah. The king understands that this is a winner-take-all showdown.
He describes it as “a Third World war.”
As a descendent of the Prophet Muhammad, the king sees himself as a moderate Arab reformer. He believes Islam
is the answer to the challenges facing his region, but he does not believe violent jihad is the way forward.
