The End/ New Beginning
The End of the World is NOT Near! Balanced Biblical teaching does indicate that there is a new age coming, during which Jesus Christ will
reign. We do not set dates for future events! Fear and dread are not appropriate for those who know Christ.
Nevertheless, there are many doomsday scenarios in the news, and some of them do have prophetic value. The balance here is to remember
that the Bible predicts bad times ahead, but not the total destruction of life.

By Jan Markel
Dec. 28, 2015 - Read the 18 stories that respected author Jan Markel feels are the best heralds of Jesus Christ's soon return.
It's been an amazing year. If you follow any of the Bible prophecy sites, blogs, and media programs, you know they have been overwhelmed with stories
that are foreshadowing ... the Time of Jacob's Trouble, also known as the Tribulation.

How Hanukkah Prophetically Foreshadows Victory in the End Times
Dec. 8, 2015 - The original drama that gave rise to Hanukkah prefigured an antichrist and the coming of the Messiah. There is
a future fulfillment of the final antichrist and the second coming of Christ to establish the Messianic Kingdom.
In any case, Hanukkah was significant enough for Yeshua to have observed it (John 10:22-23). You and I can be richly blessed by gladly
doing the same. This Hanukkah, as you stand firm in truth, unwavering in Messiah's love, may your light shine bright.

79 Percent of Evangelicals See Violence in Middle East as Sign End Times Are Near
Dec. 6, 2015 - A new survey from the Brookings Institute's Center for Middle East Policy reveals that nearly
eight out of 10 Evangelicals believe that the ongoing violence in the Middle East is an indication that the rapture and the apocalypse are near. Even
some 43% of non-Evangelical Christians believe that terrorism foreshadows the apocalypse.
Politico editor Susan Glasser said:
"Some of these numbers are really stark," she added. "I mean, the percentage of American Evangelicals, according to your survey, who believe the end
of times is nigh, is kind of eye popping, at least for secular America or blue America."

Why study Bible prophecy?
Oct. 24, 2015 - Evangelist Greg Laurie says that prophecy seems like bad news, but it can have a good effect.
He says that there used to be some new kind of world crisis every few months...
Then it was every few weeks. Now it seems that every day we hear about something in the news taking place in other
regions of the world and even in our nation.
On the other hand, there is a promise of blessing for reading the Book of Revelation.
“Blessed is the one who reads aloud the words of this prophecy, and blessed are those who hear it and take to heart what is written in it,
because the time is near” (1:3 NIV).
Laurie thinks the same principle applies to all Bible prophecy.
