Tougher EU sanctions against Iran come into force
Dec. 22, 2012 - New sanctions against Iran were approved last October. They go into effect today and include new restrictions on
Iran's banking, shipping and industrial sectors.
- They reflect heightened concern over Iran's nuclear goals and Israeli threats to attack Iranian atomic installations if diplomacy
and other measures fail to deliver a solution.

Iran will not halt 20% enrichment: official
Dec. 18, 2012 - According to the Washington Post the United States and five other world powers were hastily preparing for possible new talks with Iran,
possibly even this week. They are prepared to offer Iran a new package of inducements if they will agree to freeze key parts of its
nuclear program.

Next 9/11: Iran's death squad is here
Dec. 11, 2012 - About 10 Quds Force officers from Iran are already strategically placed in the U.S. Each one leads terrorist
cells that are highly trained to attack U.S. infrastructure in case the U.S. fails to accept Iran's nuclear program, increases sanctions,
confronts Iran militarily or intervenes in the Syrian civil war. The information has been supplied by a source within the office of Iran's

Alarm in Tehran and Moscow over Bushehr nuclear reactor’s near-explosion in mid-October
Dec. 1, 2012 - Information is just now coming to light that Iran conducted an emergency shut-down of its new Bushehr nuclear reactor
in October. Loose bolts were discovered under the fuel rods. This could have led to an explosion of the nuclear power plant. If it had exploded
it could have caused a million Iranian deaths and hundreds of thousands of radiation victims in the Persian Gulf emirates.
Informants in Moscow say that causes of the malfunction were being examined. Two possibilities are...
- 1. The bolts were deliberately unscrewed and dropped into the reactor vessel as an act of sabotage;
- 2. The Stuxnet virus which attacked Iran’s nuclear program two years ago was back and had tampered with the reactor’s computers.
During the crisis in October Russian Prime Minister Vladimir Putin sent emergency teams trained to deal with nuclear disasters to Bushehr.

AP: Diagram suggests Iran working on nuclear bomb
Nov. 27, 2012 - The Associated Press has obtained a diagram from Iran showing the computer simulation of a nuclear weapon. Such
a bomb would have more than three times the explosive force of the one that destroyed Hiroshima during World War II. It is believed that
this graph is the basis of the International Atomic Energy Agency report last year that said Iran was calculating the "nuclear explosive yield"
of potential weapons.

What Gaza fighting taught Israel about possible war with Iran
Nov. 23, 2012 - Analysis of the brief Gaza war shows that Israel's military might, defense capabilities, and the support of the
Israeli people were are very strong. However, if Israel had been fighting against the greater capabilities of Iran and Hezbollah in Lebanon,
they could be overwhelmed.
- Israeli intelligence sources say Hamas and partners in Gaza had 10,000 rockets. Hezbollah in South Lebanon has between 100,000
and 200,000, including longer range rockets that carry heavier explosive warheads, according to Israeli military analysts.
Israel also had the blessing of the U.S. during this operation, as long as they did not go in with ground forces. This analysis suggests that
Israel would suffer great damage if they were attacked by Iran, Hezbollah, and Islamic Jihad (in Gaza) all at the same time. Therefore, Israel
will need help from the U.S. if they fight Iran. The author questions whether or not President Obama will support a war against Iran and its
allied, especially if it is caused by a preemptive strike by Israel.

World Powers Want New Nuclear Talks with Iran Soon
Nov. 21, 2012 - Senior diplomats from Britain, China, France, Russia, the United States and Germany say they are "committed to
having another round of talks with Iran as soon as possible." Earlier talks about Iran's nuclear program last June in Moscow ended in virtual failure.
- Analysts warn that a window of opportunity for a negotiated solution is narrowing because of growing alarm over Tehran's nuclear
activities in Israel.
Israel is scheduled to have elections on January 22. Some experts think Israel will not initiate air strikes against Iran before elections, but Israel
will not rule out that possibility. World powers are concerned that such a preemptive strike will escalate into a great war in the region.

Secret Iran nuclear-bomb plant expanding
Nov. 3, 2012 - Information has surfaced about Iran's secret site - Velayat 1, near the city of Najafabad.
- To avoid suspicion, the site was built below a medicine factory called Abu Reyhan. The facility beneath the factory has three levels, with
two underground entrances away from the facility.
The plant has the capacity of 800 centrifuges for uranium enrichment. A neutron detonator has been tested there, and the design process is almost
complete for a nuclear warhead for the Iranian Shahab-2 ballistic missile. It is said that Mohsen Fakhrizadeh-Mahabadi, the father of Iran's nuclear
program, does his work there, along with other scientists.

Oct. 28, 2012 - Britain and the U.S. are working on a military contingency plan in case of hostilities in the Middle

build up forces in the Gulf.

U.S. Suspects Iran Was Behind a Wave of Cyberattacks
Oct. 17, 2012 -
- American intelligence officials are increasingly convinced that Iran was the origin of a serious wave of network attacks that crippled
computers across the Saudi oil industry and breached financial institutions in the United States.
U.S. Defense Secretary Leon E. Panetta warned that the United States might experience a “cyber-Pearl Harbor.” Russia and China are thought
to be the strongest agressors in the ongoing cyberwar. It is believed that they are the ones who have caused the greatest damage so far by
stealing intellectual property and attacking the computer systems of American companies and government agencies.

Confirmed: Iran toying with 'deal' on nuke plans
Oct. 17, 2012 - According to the Jerusalem Post Iranian Foreign Minister Ali Akbar Selahi said:
- “If our right to enrichment is recognized, we are prepared to offer an exchange. We would voluntarily limit the extent of our
enrichment program, but in return we would need a guaranteed supply of the relevant fuels from abroad.”

US report: Israel-US discussing joint Iran attack
Oct. 9, 2012 - Politics may have contributed to the release of information about one military option - a short, surgical pre-emptive
strike against Iran's nuclear facilities by the combined might of the US and Israel. This concept was revealed by an article in
Foreign Policy magazine yesterday written by its CEO and editor at large David Rothkopf. Rothkopf is a member of the Council on Foreign
Relations and served as an undersecretary of commerce in the Clinton administration.
The Foreign Policy article was posted soon after Republican candidate Mitt Romney criticized President Obama's Iran policies. Speaking at the
Virginia Military Institute, he said, “Iran today has never been closer to a nuclear weapons capability. And it has never acted less deterred
by America.”

Iran preparing for nuclear war
Oct. 8, 2012 - According to Reza Kahlili, an ex-CIA spy in the Iranian Revolutionary Guard, and counterterrorism expert, Iran
could reach the "Red Line" defined by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, much sooner than next Spring. He thinks Iran is
already preparing for the liklihood of a pre-emptive strike by Israel. Meanwhile a source within Iran’s Revolutionary Guards says that
Iran has already armed some of its ballistic missiles with chemical and biological warheads, to retaliate if Israel does attack. One
Revolutionary Guard commander said:
- “The enemy has always threatened us and we consider [the probability of] military confrontation at 100 percent . There are
signs that the threat is real, we are ready and the people should be ready, too.”

Defecting Iranian cameraman brings CIA priceless film of secret nuclear sites
Oct. 6, 2012 - After Iranian president Mahmoud Ahmadinejad spoke at the United Nations General Assembly he returned to Iran.
However, his personal cameraman, Hassan Golkhanban, defected from the Iranian entourage and stayed in the U.S. Now it is known
that he has turned over to the CIA a treasure trove of photographs and videos of secret Iranian nuclear installations.
- The Iranian cameraman has given US intelligence the most complete and updated footage it has ever obtained of the interiors of
Iran’s top secret military facilities and various nuclear installations, including some never revealed to nuclear watchdog inspectors.

October Surprise? Obama secret Iran deal cut
Oct. 5, 2012 - Reza Kahlili, an ex-CIA spy in the Iranian Revolutionary Guard, and counterterrorism expert, says that
an anonymous source reports that a three-person delegation of the Obama administration engaged in secret negotiations yesterday
with a representative of Iranian Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei. They urged Iran to announce a temporary halt to uranium enrichment
before next month’s U.S. election in order to save Barack Obama’s presidency.
- The U.S. representatives promised the Obama administration quickly would remove some sanctions on the Iranian central bank and oil
industry, with further collaboration after the election, the source said.

- Ed. Note: The moral issue here is deception. If this article is correct, the American people
will be tricked into temporary approval of the President just long enough to influence the outcome of the elections.
Iranian police clash with protesters over currency plunge
Oct. 4, 2012 - The Iranian currency is collapsing. The rial has lost 40 percent of its value against the dollar in a week.
Riot police clashed with demonstrators in Tehran who are angered by the plunge. Money changers were arrested for selling dollars.
- The rial has hit record lows against the U.S. dollar almost daily as Western economic sanctions imposed over Iran's disputed nuclear
program have cut its export earnings from oil, undermining the central bank's ability to support the currency.

Iranian MP: Tehran Would Enrich Uranium to 60% If Talks Fail
Oct. 3, 2012 - An Iranian lawmaker said that if negotiations with major powers over its nuclear program fail, his country
will begin to enrich uranium to 60 percent purity.
- Mansour Haqiqatpour, deputy head of parliament's Foreign Policy and National Security Committee, said 60 percent enrichment would be to
yield fuel for nuclear submarines, which often require uranium refined to high levels.
Iran is already enriching some of its uranium to the 20% mark, for use in a medical research reactor.

Iranian source: Nuclear program hiring ‘non-stop,’ ramping up enrichment
Oct. 2, 2012 - An unnamed source in Iran's nuclear program says that they are making steady progress in its uranium enrichment.
He also said it had been,
- “very hectic” of late at the facility where he is employed. “More and more young graduates and people are brought in every day...
We have been working non-stop.”
