Prophecy Unfolding? Turkey's New Role in Mideast
June 22, 2010 - When Israel stopped a Gaza-bound flotilla by force in May it started an "international rush to judgment" against Israel. This charge was led by Turkey's Prime Minister Erdowan, who used the incident to shift his allegiance toward Iran, Syria and their axis of power.
- The move represented a major realignment in the Middle East, with Turkey - once a close ally of Israel and the West - now openly courting the likes of Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, Syrian President Bashar al-Assad and ultimately Russia's Prime Minister Vladimir Putin.
This development increases the threat of war against Israel. Since the flotilla incident, a statement was issued by the Rabbinical Council of Judea and Samaria saying that the events seemed to "place us at the beginning of the Gog and Magog process where the world is against us, but which ends with the third and final redemption."

US, Israel Warships in Suez May Be Prelude to Faceoff with Iran

The action may be a warning that the Iranian Red Crescent ship that plans to reach the Gaza Strip without stopping for Israeli inspection will face military opposition.

Washington Lawmakers Warn Turkey Over Israel
Jun. 17, 2010 - Indiana Republican Congressman Mike Pence is one of several U.S. lawmakers who may vote for A Congressional resolution that recognizes the 1915-1923 massive slaughter of Armenians in eastern Anatolia by the Ottoman Turks. The resolution passed the Foreign Affairs Committee by a lone vote in March, but many lawmakers planned to vote against it when it comes to the House floor. Pence told reporters there would be “a cost if Turkey stays on its present heading of growing closer to Iran and more antagonistic to the State of Israel. It will bear upon my view, and I believe of many members of Congress.”
About 130 other lawmakers have signed a letter to President Barack Obama asking him to encourage the international community not to condemn Israel, but to focus on the crimes of the Iran-backed Hamas leadership against Israel.

Iran to Ship Uranium to Turkey in Nuclear Deal

- There was no immediate comment from the United States and the other world powers that have led earlier negotiations as to whether the new deal would satisfy them and stave off a fourth round of U.N. sanctions.

EMP could leave '9 out of 10 Americans dead'
May 4, 2010 - Joseph Farah's G2 Bulletin sounds a renewed alarm about the possibility of an EMP attack (electromagnetic pulse) on the United States because of Iran's work on a multi-stage Space Launch Vehicle. Iran recently conducted a sucessful launch of their multi-stage SLV, the Simorgh. This rocket could be equipped with a nuclear warhead and detonated at high altitude over the U.S. The resulting radiation could destroy computers all over the nation, leading to a loss of electrical power and other necessary utilities.
- "Within a year of that attack, nine out of 10 Americans would be dead, because we can't support a population of the present size in urban centers and the like without electricity," said Frank Gaffney, president of the Center for Security Policy.
