Finnaly! U.N. concedes Christians are persecuted
Nov. 13, 2017 - In the past the United Nations has ignored the fact that Christians are actually the most persecuted people
in the world. For example:
The Syrian city of Aleppo was home to the largest Christian community in the Middle East in 2011. But the Christian
population there is down more than 75 percent in just six years, the report notes, from 150,000 to about 35,000.
The good news is that two U.N. officials have told the American Center for Law and Justice that they will request aid for the persecuted Christians.

At least 26 killed at Baptist church near San Antonio in deadliest shooting in Texas history

At least 26 people died Sunday after a gunman opened fire at a Baptist church in a small town southeast of San Antonio.
Devin Kelley, 26, began shooting from outside Sutherland Springs' First Baptist Church before he entered the building.

Oct. 13, 2017 - A report from the group called "Catholic charity Aid to the Church in Need (ACN)." shows that
in 13 countries persecution against Christians is increasing.
"The outlook has worsened in all of them with the one exception being Saudi Arabia 'where the situation was already so bad it could scarcely
get any worse."
North Korea, Iraq, Syria, and Nigeria are some of the worst offenders.

July 19, 2017 - President Donald Trump has said that Christians have “been horribly treated” by former President Obama,
who allowed more Muslim than Christian refugees to come to the U.S. Since Trump's inauguration the numbers have been reversed.
According to a Pew Research Center analysis of U.S. State Department refugee data, during the period from January 21, 2017

Attack in Egypt: Gunmen reportedly open fire on bus carrying Coptic Christians in Egypt, killing at least 23
May 26, 2017 - Gunmen attacked a bus carrying Coptic Christians near Cairo Friday. They killed 23 and injured 25.
No group immediately claimed responsibility for the attack. But Egypt’s Coptic Christians have become the preferred target of the Islamic State group.
In February, an Islamic State affiliate released a video saying that Egyptian Christians were their "favorite prey."

Apr. 9, 2017 - ISIS has claimed responsibility for bombing attacks at two Egyptian Coptic Christian churches.
The first blast happened at St. George church [near Cairo], where at least 26 people were killed and 71 others wounded...
A second explosion was later reported at St. Mark's Cathedral in the coastal city of Alexandria.

are packing their belongings and fleeing from the area.
Seven Christians have been killed in Arish between Jan. 30 and Thursday. Islamic State, which is waging an insurgency there,
claimed responsibility for the killings, five of which were shootings. One man was beheaded and another set on fire.
