We are ambassadors, calling people to a right relationship with God through Christ. We have opinions on various issues,
and even biblical positions on some of those issues. But we are not here primarily to debate healthcare reform or immigration policy.

“The political left is more than unhinged; they have fallen into a dangerous delusion of their own making,” she remarked after a gunman
opened fire on GOP lawmakers at a baseball practice in Alexandria, Virginia, Wednesday morning, wounding five people.

Supreme Court justices show support for church, in Gorsuch's 1st high-profile case
Apr. 20, 2017 - The Supreme Court heard a case yesterday about whether or not a church should be excluded from a
government-assisted program to repave playgrounds with safer re-cycled tires. Two contentious issues are involved: religious
freedom and taxpayer funding. It appeared that the majority of the justices favored allowing the church to be included.
Gorsuch, the court’s newest member, was subdued by comparison to his active involvement during his first two days of arguments.
He only asked a couple brief questions of the state's lawyer near the end of arguments.

McConnell vows Gorsuch confirmation this week, says nuclear option 'in hands of Democrats'
Apr. 2, 2017 - Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell said that Judge Neil Gorsuch will be confirmed this week to the Supreme Court.
President Trump’s pick to fill the high court seat of conservative Associate Justice Antonin Scalia, will almost certainly have
enough votes early this week in the GOP-controlled Senate.
However, if the Democrats start a filibuster to upset the process, Senate leadership could invoke the so-called "nuclear option," which would stop the
filibuster, and only require a majority vote to confirm Gorsuch.
