New World Order

PROPHETIC SIGNIFICANCE: Nebuchadnezzar's vision in Daniel 2 is a prophecy about a series of world empires under Satan's control leading to a final evil coalition of nations. Throughout history there have been many secret societies that have controlled wealth and power from behind the scenes, to promote an ultimate One-World Government. Some people refer to this power behind the scenes as the Invisible Government.

The implication that there is a conspiracy to produce a universal government is accepted by many prophecy scholars, but rejected by others. There is no doubt that there will be a One-World Government, but there are differing views on the processes that lead to it. Some have called this an "open conspiracy," meaning one that is not totally hidden, but is more of a one-world agenda by the rich and powerful. This elite group publishes their ideas, but the public is never made aware of their ultimate plans.

US abstains in key Israel vote, clearing way for condemnation of settlements

Dec. 23, 2016 - The United Nations voted to condemn Israeli settlement expansion in the occupied West Bank. The U.S. could have vetoed the action, but instead, exercised a "shameful" abstention.

Failure by the U.S. to veto the measure was seen as a double-cross of America's key Middle Eastern ally, and attributed directly to outgoing President Barack Obama, who has had chilly relations with Israel throughout his eight-year tenure.

Nov. 19, 2016 - During the Republican primaries Donald Trump met with Henry Kissinger in hopes that it would build up his foreign policy credentials. Now, after the election, they have met again to discuss "events and issues around the world." According to an official statement from the president-elect's team...

Franklin Graham: U.K. vote deals blow to '1-world government'

Jun. 25, 2016 - Evangelist Franklin Graham posted on Facebook that the decision by British voters to leave the European Union, "is at least a temporary setback for the politicians in this country and around the world who want a one-world government and a one-world currency."

He said that the Bible predicts a global government. And he asked his readers to pray that leaders in Europe and the United State "will look to Almighty God for wisdom and discernment in these trying and complex times.”
