'Iran must attack Israel by 2014'
-
Feb. 9, 2012 - A document that represents the bellief of Iran's Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei is now circulating on the Internet.
- The document, written by strategy specialist Alireza Forghani, outlined the reasons why, "In the name of Allah, Iran must
attack Israel by 2014."
The document calls Israel "cancerous tumor for the Middle East." It says that even though Israel has not yet struck Iran, its occupation
of Palestinian lands already justifies an attack. It called for the destruction of Israel before the opportunity to do so will be lost, and
claimed that it would be a "defensive jihad" - or the protecting of Islam against aggressors "who want to gain domination over the Muslims
and kill them."

Ayaan Hirsi Ali:The Global War on Christians in the Muslim World
Feb. 8, ,2012 - Persecution is increasing steadily from one end of the Muslim world to the other.
- Christians are being killed in the Islamic world because of their religion. It is a rising genocide that ought to
provoke global alarm.
Some examples:
- Nigeria - Since the beginning of 2011 Boko Haram has killed more than 500 people and burned down or destroyed more than 350 churches.
- Sudan - Intense persecution of Christians and Animists has caused between 53,000 and 75,000 to be displaced from their residences.
- Egypt - Since the Arab Spring more than 200,000 Coptic Christians have fled from their homes because of fear of attacks.
- Iraq - More than 900 Iraqi Christians (most of them Assyrians) have been killed by terrorist violence in Baghdad alone, and 70 churches have been burned.

US, Western Nations 'Enabling' Islamism, Ex-Muslim Says
Jan. 27, 2012 - According to Dr. Patrick Sookhdeo, international director of the Barnabas Fund, the United States and other
nations have helped to spread Islamism in countries like Libya and Egypt. About Libya he said, western powers supported the NTC, "a coalition
of groups that included al-Qaida."
- "We have removed one dictator and replaced that dictator with a political ideology rooted in a religion that wants our destruction."
Dr. Sookhedo, who is an ex Muslim, distinguishes between Islam and Islamism. Islam, as a religion, has every right to exist in western nations,
but Islamism, as a political movement, should be resisted.

Gingrich is right on Sharia
Jan. 19, 2012 - When asked if he would support a Muslim for president, Newt Gingrich said it would depend on the candidate's beliefs about
Sharia law.
- Speaker Gingrich responding by saying it depends on whether the candidate was “a modern person who happens to worship Allah.” Or “a person
who belonged to any kind of belief in Shariah, any kind of effort to impose that on the rest of us.”
He added that a candidate who believes in Shariah would be a “mortal threat.” He repeated his earlier call for federal legislation against
practicing Shariah in U.S. courts.

Criminalizing Religious Criticism: UN Resolution Threatens Freedom of Speech
Jan. 14, 2012 - A UN resolution (Resolution 16/18) would seem like a good thing - “Combating intolerance, negative stereotyping,
and stigmatization of, and discrimination, incitement to violence and violence against, persons based upon
religion or belief.” But according to Jay Sekulow of the American Center for Law and Justice this could be devastating to minority
religions in some Islamic countries.

2012: The Year of Persecution?
Jan. 7, 2012 - Even before the 9/11 attacks, Harvard professor Samuel P. Huntington wrote the book, The Clash of Civilizations
and the Remaking of World Order.
He said there would be a "clash of civilizations" between three great cultures (the Western, Asian, and Islamic). He predicted a
massive conflict between the West and Islam caused by Islamic militarism.
Since then the Christian population has held steady, but is shrinking in Europe while it is growing in Africa and other developing areas.
Wherever it is seen as a threat to Islam, persecution is growing.
- In Iran and Pakistan, Christians are being put on death row for “apostasy” (translation: quitting Islam) or blasphemy... Two-thirds of Iraq’s
pre-war Christians have fled. In Egypt and Syria, Muslim zeal threatens ancient Christian groups.
While Christian persecution is physical in such places, it is rearing its head hear as well. The late Christopher Hitchens exemplified hateful
anti-Christian rhetoric by athiests, and some politicians and media outlets are turning against traditional Christian values.
